Kiwitech Troughs are near indestructible as they were originally designed to cope with the demands of watering bulls in an intensive rotational grazing system. Use with Kiwitech Hydrants for quick connect/disconnect of trough leads.

Note: Kiwitech Troughs are not for use with direct mains water supplies. Due to potential risk of backflow there must be an air-gap in the system i.e. ball valve in header tank.

Super tough - high flow - cattle, sheep, deer, horse or pig trough that can service 50-100 adult cattle. Short enough to sit under a wire but wide enough to service 2 stock mobs either side of the wire!

MicroTroughs for Cattle (Portable or Fixed)

One MicroTrough can service the drinking needs of at least 50 adult cattle. If water flow is sufficiently high MicroTroughs can be daisy chain linked to service more cattle. Operates under any flow rate or pressure (best around 80 psi).
MicroTroughs are not recommended for Sheep use.

Portable MicroTroughs

For those in temperate climates this portable trough would be Kiwitech's personal choice (extremely affordable, no chance of tipping over with the 9x350mm stake, so easy to shift). In high temperatures the black plastic can heat up significantly and cattle who have not learnt to create flow to cool the trough by stepping on the plate may shy away.

MicroTroughs for Hilly Terrain

Exactly the same as MICGO's but sold with a 9x450mm stake. Used as "fixed" troughs on errosion prone slopes. The stake assists in keeping the trough horizontal, reducing the chance of spillage on the down slope.
