Gates and Strainers

Kiwitech Electric Fence Gates are integrated into existing 1.25-2.5mm H.T. electric fence lines saving cost and eliminating weakness. Any reasonable gate width is possible and up to 6 wires can be incorporated.

Heavy Duty Gate Handle and/or Strainer (Tensioner)

Extremely tough - SOLID plastic handles for gate use with H.T. wire, Electric Bungee or Polytape. Wire up to be a conductor OR an insulator, store spare wire on the large drum. Hook is pigtailed to prevent accidental ‘jumping off’.
Very popular as tension-repair devices at the end of long H.T. fence wires - being detachable, a wire break is easily fixed and tension quickly restored using the drum's spare wire store.

Integate

Affordable, electrically tidy gate solution for multi-wire fences. The insulated pin is used to lever the galvanised pole against the plastic Scabbard to aid in gate closure.

Gate Thongs (Latches)

A Thong is a length of 2.95mm galvanised wire looped with ends linked and overmoulded. Thongs will not let go under maximum loads reached by Kiwitech strained fence lines and provide uninhibited electric flow (no chance of galvanic corrosion either). They are designed to be installed on an angle to aid Integate hook on and off technique.

Race Hook

Use on the opposite side of a race way to keep open gates taught, helping to angle or guide stock into paddocks. Alternatively, Race Hooks can be placed on a gate's own fence line to keep gates permanently open without leaving hot-wires lying on the ground.
